OU football: 4 Sooners invited to NFL Combine

NORMAN — Four former Sooners were invited to attend the 2020 NFL Combine at the end of February.

The NFL on Friday invited Neville Gallimore, Jalen Hurts, CeeDee Lamb and Kenneth Murray to participate.

Gallimore recorded 30 total tackles and four sacks in his final season at Oklahoma. He was also named a first team All-Big 12 selection by the Associated Press.

In one season as the Sooners' quarterback, Hurts threw for 3,851 total yards and 32 touchdowns, while adding another 1,298 yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground. The graduate transfer from Alabama was also one of four Heisman finalists.

Lamb recorded 1,327 total receiving yards and 14 touchdowns in his junior season at Oklahoma. He was unanimously named to the All-Big 12 first team, and he was a finalist for the Biletnikoff and Earl Campbell Tyler Rose awards.

Murray made 102 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss and four sacks in his junior season. He was a finalist for the Bednarik and Butkus awards as well as the LOTT Impact Trophy.

The combine takes place from Feb. 24 to March 1, with on-field workouts being conducted Feb. 27 to March 1.
