The saints marched around

Occasion: They are having a great time in Stillwater, Oklahoma! On stage at the McKnight Center in Stillwater recently was the Preservation Hall Jazz Band from New Orleans. Guests enjoyed the jazz concert and the world class new performance hall. It was definitely a party atmosphere and the dedicated jazz performers played to a full house. Another jazz band, comprised of Oklahoma State University professors, students and alumni, played in the lobby as guests arrived. Patron guests celebrated the French Quarter in New Orleans, Mardi Gras and the Jazz music with beads, beignets, muffuletta sandwiches and hurricane cocktails. Everyone got into the act when the band played their final number “When the Saints Go Marching In” and a line of concert-goers danced around the McKnight Center. OSU First Cowgirl Ann Hargis was at the head of the parade.
