A Stillwater woman and her son are among President Donald Trump's guests at the State of the Union.

Kelli Hake's husband, Army Staff Sgt. Chris Hake, died in 2008 in Baghdad, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb while on patrol.

The White House attributed Hake's death to the actions of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, who was assassinated this year on Trump's order.

Hake's son Gage, who was just a year old at the time for his father's death, will attend Trump's speech alongside his mother.

Trump invited 11 guests to his third annual State of the Union speech.
