National Cowboy Museum cancels Cowgirls of Color event due to winter weather forecast

The hour-long program was to begin with a presentation from the Cowgirls of Color, where students would get to know more about each member of the group and learn about cowboy history, horses, clothing, rodeo and more. After the presentation, students were rotate through various activity stations throughout the museum to explore western figures, cattle trails, cowboy culture and clothing.
"The safety of Museum visitors always comes first at The Cowboy. Efforts to reschedule the program are being made. We apologize for any inconvenience," reads a statement from the museum.
