OSU football reducing prices of season tickets in several sections

STILLWATER — The season ticket pricing for more than 12,000 seats will be reduced for the 2020 football season, Oklahoma State announced.

The price decreases are in areas of every level of the stadium, in a variety of areas as Oklahoma State works toward its goal of selling 51,000 season tickets.

Additionally, four sections of seating are being made available to the general public as season-ticket options, including section 330 on the north side of the stadium between the 20- and 40-yard lines.

Also, sections 215, 216 and 217 in the west end zone are now available to the public. That is the result of a change made to relocate the band to the northwest corner of the stadium in the student section.

The largest price reduction comes in section 120 in the northeast corner of the stadium, where prices will drop 25 percent from 2019. Section 227 on the north side and section 101 in the southeast corner will come down 15 percent.

In sections 224 and 226 on the north side of the stadium, prices will be reduced by 13 percent from 2019. Also, the cost of 50-yard line seats on both the north and south sides are coming down as well. Sections 305 and 306 on the south side are decreasing by 10 percent and section 331 on the north side is coming down by 7 percent.

In all, 13,421 season tickets are available for less than $500 per ticket in a season when the Cowboys have seven home games. Additional price decreases are available for fans who buy four or more season tickets in predetermined sections.

Some high-demand sections will see price increases, primarily on the south side of the stadium.

A new policy being implemented is that 2020-21 academic year Pistol Pete’s Partners members that are 2 years old or younger on August 1, 2020 will be admitted for free, provided a seat is not desired for the child.
