OU women's basketball: Texas Tech rallies to beat Sooners 89-84

LUBBOCK, Texas — Texas Tech women's basketball overcame a 15-point deficit in the third quarter and rallied to beat Oklahoma 89-84 in overtime on Wednesday night.

OU had a 61-46 lead late in the third. The Red Raiders went on a 24-9 run, tying the game on a Chrislyn Carr layup with 2:02 left in the fourth.

Texas Tech (13-4, 2-4 Big 12) hit a pair of free throws with 25 seconds remaining to tie it at 75 and send the game into overtime.

Texas Tech's Andrayah Adams had a game-high 29 points; Carr finished with 24 points.

Taylor Robertson led OU (10-8, 3-3) with 26 points. She shot 7 of 24 from the field and 6 of 19 from 3-point range. Madi Williams had 20 points and 11 rebounds.

The Sooners will play at Kansas State at 2 p.m. Saturday.
