Oklahoma native Charlie Wilson released today his funky new love song "Forever Valentine." Check out the lyric video:
According to Rolling Stone, R&B superstar Bruno Mars provides back-up vocals on the track, which Mars also co-produced with his production team the Stereotypes and D’Mile. They all also co-wrote the song with Wilson, Micah Powell and Seth Reger.
“Forever Valentine” is Wilson’s first new solo music since the 2017 release of his album "In It To Win It."
As previously reported, Wilson, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato are on the next slate of performers for the upcoming 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Current Grammy nominees Camilla Cabello, H.E.R., Jonas Brothers, Rosalía and Tyler, The Creator are set to deliver performances, and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipients Run-D.M.C will perform with previously announced performers Aerosmith.
Hosted by Alicia Keys, the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live from Staples Center in Los Angeles from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26 on the CBS Television Network and streaming on CBS All Access.
Hailing from Tulsa, Wilson is a 13-time Grammy nominee known for his work with the Gap Band and his solo R&B career.
