Injury update: Nerlens Noel, Abdel Nader out vs. Toronto
Ankle injuries continue to affect the Thunder’s rotations.
On Wednesday afternoon, the team listed center Nerlens Noel (left ankle sprain) and wing Abdel Nader (left ankle sprain) as out for OKC’s game against Toronto later that evening.
Noel has already missed five games with the injury. Averaging 1.4 blocks per game, Noel ranks No. 3 in that category among reserves who have played at least 20 games.
Nader sprained his ankle during the Thunder’s 117-104 win at Minnesota Monday. He is averaging career highs in points (6.2), 3-point percentage (36.4) and minutes (16.3) this season.
Tipoff between the Thunder and Raptors is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
