Harding Charter Prep hosts open house for prospective students

Harding Charter Preparatory High School will host its second Prospective Student/Family Open House at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 in the school’s auditorium, 1301 NE 101 St.

The evening will include meeting with teachers and administrators and a short tour of the classrooms and building.

“Families interested in learning more about the school are encouraged to come to a prospective student session. At these events, prospective students and parents can meet the administrators and teachers, learn about the unique opportunities we provide to our students, and see the school,” principal Steven Stefanick said.

Families also may obtain a student application for the 2020-21 school year or submit their completed application at this function. Applications for the 2020-21 school year can be found at www.hardingcharterprep.org and will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. March 6.

Harding Charter Prep was founded in 2003 as a college preparatory high school with an open access Advanced Placement curriculum. The school offers 23 Advanced Placement courses that offer students the opportunity of college credit while in high school, 13 competitive athletic programs, and a state and nationally recognized Fine Art curriculum. The school has received the ranking of the No. 1 public school in Oklahoma by US News and Report. The school was recognized as a National Blue-Ribbon school in 2013.

The final Prospective Parent/Student night will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 in the school auditorium.
