Former Cashion star Sydney Manning makes SportsCenter Top 10

Former Cashion star Sydney Manning is used to scoring big buckets throughout the course of her career.

Friday was no different, but it landed her in the national spotlight.

With Missouri State's women's basketball team trailing Drake 67-66 and the clock dwindling, Manning was on the left wing when the ball fell out of a teammates hand in the lane and got knocked to her. She fired up a 3-pointer, and it hit nothing but net as the time expired, giving the Bears the 69-67 victory.

The shot ended up on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays for Friday, coming in at No. 7.

Manning, a sophomore, finished with a team-high 16 points. In 15 games this season, Manning has helped Missouri State to a 13-2 record, scoring 3.7 points per contest coming off the bench.

Manning played three seasons at Deer Creek before moving to Cashion for her senior year, where she was named The Oklahoman's Little All-City Player of the Year and earned her second straight Super 5 first-team honor.
