Russell Westbrook strolled to the visitor's locker room at Chesapeake Energy Arena wearing all black and a shirt that recognized his former home.

It was a subdued look for the NBA fashion icon.

Westbrook's shirt featured a basketball hoop with "Zero Regrets" printed above the image. And to the right of the rim were the words, 'Thank You, Oklahoma!' in a slanted script.

“I wanted to do something for the city, for the people,” Westbrook said of his attire.

The shirt, from Westbrook's Honor the Gift clothing line, is available online for $48. It has this description: “Thank you, Oklahoma. Representing 11 years of dedication, self belief, growth, gratitude and overall family. I have 0 regrets."

Westbrook arrived at his former home gym two hours before tip-off.

Westbrook was among the first Rockets to take the floor for warmups.

Westbrook wore black, orange and blue sneakers. They featured stats from his 11 seasons in Oklahoma City.

“I don’t regret signing back, I don’t regret staying here, I don’t regret anything I did,” Westbrook said. “I feel like I left everything out on the court every single night and did everything that I could for the city.”

Tribute video

Almost everyone in the arena stood — including players — as the video board went dark just before the visiting Rockets were introduced.

What followed was a two-minute tribute video to Westbrook.

It featured his unforgettable highlights, outlandish outfits and everything in between.

After he was introduced, Westbrook went about his usual routine. He fist bumped employees at the scorer’s table and sprinted to a corner of the court to energize the crowd.

Paying respect

The Thunder debuted its new “City” uniforms Thursday night. The charcoal and gold uniforms were designed to pay respect to those affected by the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.

Several Thunder players, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari and Hamidou Diallo wore matching black and gold sneakers.

Injury update

Gallinari returned to the starting lineup Thursday night. He was initially ruled out for the game, but Thunder coach Billy Donovan said before the game that Gallinari would play without restrictions.

Gallinari did not play Tuesday night at Brooklyn due to a right calf contusion.

Thunder center Nerlens Noel missed a third consecutive game. Noel sprained his left ankle Saturday at Cleveland. There is no timetable for his return, Donovan said.

Noel is averaging 18 minutes per game as Steven Adams’ backup. Noel leads the Thunder in effective field-goal percentage (66 percent). He also leads the team with 1.5 blocks per game.

Quotable

Donovan on Houston’s offense, which has been criticized for its style despite its positive results:

“They’re the most efficient offensive team in the league,” Donovan said. “It’s because they obviously shoot the ball from three, they get to the deep paint and they get fouled. People can look at how they go about doing those things, but the result is what it is. If it looked different cosmetically but they were 15th? … They’re getting the results you want.”

Tip-in

The Thunder scored 37 points in the first quarter, its season-high for a first quarter.
