Russell Westbrook's much-anticipated return to Oklahoma City has sent ticket prices soaring on the secondary market.

The average cost of a ticket sold for the Thunder-Rockets game at 8:30 p.m. Thursday was $138 as of Wednesday afternoon, according to data from Vivid Seats

That's the fifth-most in-demand Thunder home game in the last two seasons, according to Vivid Seats. It's the second highest-priced home game this season — behind a game that will be played two days later.

The average ticket sold for the Thunder-Lakers game at 7 p.m. Saturday was $160.

The average ticket price (not ticket sold price) on StubHub for the Rockets game is $172. That's 157 percent higher than the average ticket price this season, according to data from StubHub

"Clearly OKC fans are excited for the game versus the Rockets this week as shown by the remarkably high demand we’re seeing,” said Akshay Khanna, general manager of sports at StubHub.

The cheapest Thunder-Rockets ticket is selling for $40, according to TickPick.
