OSU football: Chuba Hubbard surpasses 2,000 yards in second quarter of Texas Bowl
HOUSTON -- Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard went over the 2,000-yard mark with a 16-yard run late in the second quarter of the Texas Bowl against Texas A&M at NRG Stadium.
It is only the 32nd 2,000-yard season in college football history.
Hubbard entered the game needing 64 yards to reach the plateau and had 53 in the first quarter.
Hubbard had already secured the No. 2 rushing season in Oklahoma State history behind the memorable 1988 season of Barry Sanders.
