’TIS THE SEASON
Party: Julee Coyle, Linda James and Marsha See were hostesses for their annual holiday party in the See home. Guests arrived on the first level of the home and were greeted with a tall tree covered with ornaments, lights and tinsel icicles. The buffet table was on the second level and featured beautiful antique Dresden candelabrum and a Dresden bowl filled with roses and berries. Biscuits with ham, chicken salad sandwiches sprinkled with red glitter, and fruit were served. Downstairs, mini cream brûlées and cookies were featured.
Seen: At the party were Christy Everest, Karen Samis, Kathy Griffin, Susan Hoffman, Shirley Everest, Billye Austin, Gay Kirby, Susan Jordan, Connie Bright, Jana Reynolds, Mary Kay Samis, Christy Johnson, Ginger Johnson, Patty Cohenour, Libby Payne, Marty Margo and Jill King.
LADIES' CHRISTMAS CHEER
Party: Judy Love, Susan Johnston and Barbara Brou had their annual Christmas party in the Love home, which featured different-sized Santas all over the house. There were Santas decorating the entryway, the mantle and coffee tables, and Santa artwork hung on the walls.
Other decor: The buffet table featured a large Nativity scene centerpiece and was filled with hot dips and rolls, cheeses, sandwiches, cookies and fudge.

MEETING AT CHRISTMASTIME
Luncheon: The Oklahoma City Orchestra League had the Christmas membership meeting at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. Jose Freede was hostess for lunch. Table decorations were boughs of eucalyptus branches and seasonal greenery.
Entertainment: Entertainment was music from Jeanne Clewell, piano; Meredith Blecha-Wells, cello; and Maestro Alexander Mickelthwate playing the piano with the OL membership signing along.
Party favors: Cookies and chocolate candy decorated with the OL logo were party favors.
On the agenda: Information about opportunities to volunteer for the music education program was provided and a special gift was given to Kris Markes for her service to the orchestra.
CHRISTMAS AT THE GALLERY
Opening reception: JRB Art at The Elms featured artists Jean Richardson, Jim Keefer and B+E Simple, created by Beth Hammack and Elizabeth Dregits at the First Friday Walk opening party.
Holiday look: The gallery was decked with festive red and gold holiday decorations, created and installed by John Wolfe, and vases of red amaryllis. The cocktail buffet featured platters of smoked salmon with various toppings, fruit and cheese platters, bite-sized truffles, and red velvet and carrot cakes.

CHRISTMAS COFFEE
Occasion: The Dig & Hope Garden Club met in the home of Terry Bradley for a Christmas coffee. Debbie Sullivan is club president. Charlotte Lankard spoke at the event. Hostesses were Barbara Dahnke, Laurie Hyde and Diana Morrison.
