High school football: OSSAA posts updated ADM numbers for football classification in 2020-21, to be voted on Wednesday

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association posted updated ADM numbers for football classification Tuesday evening.

The main change in numbers from the initial release is Midwest City will remain in Class 6A-II, and Capitol Hill will be the highest ADM school in Class 5A. Capitol Hill and U.S. Grant are expected to rejoin classifications next season after six years as independents.

Shawnee will drop back into Class 5A after two seasons in Class 6A-II. Christian Heritage Academy and Owasso Rejoice Christian are making the jump to Class 2A.

The numbers will be presented to the OSSAA Board of Directors at its monthly board meeting Wednesday for approval. If approved, the numbers will be sent to the Oklahoma Football Coaches Association to be sorted into districts, which will be presented at the January board meeting.
