Having back and neck pain can bring life to a standstill.
You might not be able to play golf, work, or even sit in the car for a 30-minute drive. It’s almost impossible for anyone around you to understand how you feel. You can’t remember the last time you even had a restful night’s sleep.
“Life is too short to let pain slow you down,” said Dr. Gerald Flores, D.C., Clinic Director at Renuva Back & Pain Centers in Oklahoma City.
“Pain is your body’s warning sign telling you something is wrong” Flores added. “Sure, you can numb the pain if you take enough Vicodin, hydrocodone or some other pain pill. However, if you mask the pain, it can prevent your back from healing – maybe even damage it further.”
Many back and neck pain sufferers struggle to find lasting relief with rehab, chiropractic, acupuncture or pain management alone. Plus, many patients experience harmful side effects from medications or failed surgical procedures.
“The problem is that back and neck pain are symptoms of a medical condition, not a diagnosis,” Flores said. “Often, these symptoms are treated, but the biomechanical and physiological conditions causing the pain are not.”
For this reason, Renuva developed CoreCareTM, a comprehensive nonsurgical and drug-free approach which addresses both the symptoms and the cause of your pain.
“We’ve seen hundreds of people with back pain leave the office with less pain after our CoreCare treatments,” Flores said. “I’ve seen it first hand and I strongly believe you have an option other than drugs or surgery.”
New research in a treatment called Photobiomodulation (PBM) is having a profound effect on patients suffering with chronic pain from low back pain to arthritis.
PBM Therapy has thousands of papers published on it, and has been shown to aid in damaged tissue regeneration, decrease inflammation, relieve pain and boost the immune system.
Before the FDA would approve Class IV Lasers for PBM Therapy they required evidence that it was safe for use on humans. This led to studies on safety and also numerous studies on the effectiveness of PBM therapy.
One study from Lasers in Surgery and Medicine found that 70% of back pain patients who received PBM therapy maintained pain relief at their one month follow-up versus only 28% of back pain patients who received a Lidocaine injection.
Another study by the American College of Physicians found that pain medication and steroids were limited in improving pain outcomes or treating low back pain.
For patients with chronic low back pain, ACP recommends that physicians and patients initially select non-drug therapies like multidisciplinary rehabilitation, PBM therapy and spinal manipulation — all of which are included in Renuva’s five-phase CoreCare treatment protocol.
For a few days only, Renuva is offering new patients CoreCare treatment for only $59. The value of this consultation is $257.

Renuva’s CoreCare is a non-surgical and drug-free treatment developed by Dr. Michael Riley, D.C. over the course of 15 years. The CoreCare treatment protocol is a five-phase scientific approach that applies FDA-cleared technologies and therapies in a way that is methodical and proven to be effective. CoreCare combines several therapies designed specifically for treating the underlying causes of most pain. Each therapy on its own has value, but when combined, produce a greater and longer lasting effect. In other words, the sum of the whole is greater than the parts. Read more ›
