OSU football: Cowboys secondary preparing for OU's CeeDee Lamb with own experience
STILLWATER — Before Oklahoma State star receiver Tylan Wallace suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, he was on a torrid pace to lead the Big 12 in receiving.
He likely would have been in the conversation for the Biletnikoff Award given to the nation’s top receiver. Instead, when the Cowboys host Oklahoma this weekend, a finalist for the award will be on the opposite sideline.
OU receiver CeeDee Lamb is one of three finalists for the award.
“I can see some comparisons between them,” OSU safety Tre Sterling said. “They’re both Biletnikoff material.”

Wallace’s season finished with 53 receptions for 903 yards and eight touchdowns. Lamb is up to 46 receptions for 999 yards and 14 TDs.
Sterling said he’s learned the most by facing Wallace in practice. That caliber of receiver helped the Cowboys secondary prepare for players like Lamb.
“It’s going to be a task, but I think we can do it,” Sterling said.
