OSU football: Bedlam is final home game for 12 Cowboys

STILLWATER — Saturday’s Bedlam game will mark the final home game for a dozen Oklahoma State senior players.

It’s not a particularly huge class for the Cowboys, but it’s littered with several key players who have made a big impact.

Starters such as defensive back A.J. Green, offensive linemen Marcus Keyes and Johnny Wilson and kicker Matt Ammendola among others have stood out.

“This is kind of a roll-over year for us,” OSU coach Mike Gundy said. “You have the guys in there that make it special. I’m forgetting some, but you have a certain number of guys that make it special.”

Gundy is certainly going to miss one personality — Wilson’s. With his mohawk and love of heavy metal music, he’s brought a new flavor to the team.

“In practice on Thursday, I played six heavy metal songs during practice just for him,” Gundy said. “And it’s the best practice he’s ever had.”

Gundy also said no underclassmen will be honored Saturday as part of senior day ceremonies.
