Vote in The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll
The second week of the high school football playoffs featured a bevy of standout performances.
The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll for the top performances by OKC-area players on Friday is now live. Fans can vote before it closes at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Results of the poll will appear in Wednesday's edition of The Oklahoman.

Here are the candidates for the city-area Fans' Choice Player of the Week:
Gavin Freeman, WR/DB, Heritage Hall: Freeman scored two touchdowns – one on offense and one on defense – in a 95-second span during the Chargers’ 34-9 win against Stigler. The sophomore caught a 36-yard touchdown pass and returned a fumble 38 yards for a score.
Brexten Green, WR, Cashion: Green had an excellent game in a 45-6 win over Texhoma. The junior had three receptions for 76 yards and one score, along with four carries for 90 yards and a touchdown.
Dylan Hampton, QB, Piedmont: Piedmont’s star continued his stellar season in a 62-21 win against Coweta. He had eight rushes for 212 yards and three touchdowns while completing 3 of 5 passes for 129 yards and three scores.
Lance Spaulding, RB, Washington: The senior carried Washington during a gritty 17-14 win against Holland Hall. He rushed 32 times for 256 yards and a touchdown to continue the Warriors’ undefeated season.
Qwontrel Walker, RB, Stillwater: The junior took over from the first time he touched the ball. Walker finished with 256 rushing yards on 31 carries with five touchdowns, propelling the Pioneers to a 62-12 win against Choctaw.
Rico Windham, WR/DB, Carl Albert: The senior two-way star continued his impressive season in a 38-7 win against McAlester. Windham recorded seven receptions for 162 yards and two touchdowns while collecting five tackles.

Nick Sardis joined The Oklahoman in 2017, and he covers high school sports. The 22-year-old was born and raised in Norman, and he played baseball at Norman North High School. He is a senior at the University of Oklahoma. Read more ›
