Thunder guard Hamidou Diallo out against Lakers
LOS ANGELES — Thunder guard Hamidou Diallo (left knee sprain) will miss his third consecutive game Tuesday night against the Lakers, coach Billy Donovan confirmed before the game.
"We weren't able to do anything on the court, so it's hard for me to say what kind of progress he's made with it being a back-to-back," Donovan said. "But I think once we get back to Oklahoma, we'll have a much better feel for that."
After Tuesday, the Thunder is off until it faces the Lakers again Friday night in Oklahoma City.
Diallo has been a key reserve for the Thunder. The second-year guard is averaging 8.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in 22 minutes per game.
Abdel Nader has absorbed most of Diallo's minutes in the two previous games.
