OSU football: Mike Gundy undecided on attending son's semifinal game
STILLWATER — Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy has a real dilemma on Friday night.
Attend his son, Gunnar’s, state semifinal game when Stillwater faces Choctaw at Yukon High School and meet the Cowboys in Morgantown, West Virginia. Or, watch or get updates from Morgantown.
“I don’t know what I'm going to do yet,” Gundy said Monday. “I guess I’ll just kind of feel my way through it.”
Gundy has never stayed behind and met the team later for a road game to watch his son’s game.
But he could this week, especially with OSU staying in Morgantown for the first time.
“We do all our work here anyway,” Gundy said. “All we do is fly on a plane, go to hotel and eat dinner and go to sleep. I get to the hotel, we eat dinner and they see me. I go up to the room and chill out, and then I don’t see anybody until the next day.
“To be honest with you, they might not even know that I’m not there.”
