STILLWATER — Oklahoma State receiver Dillon Stoner caught the pass, ran through the end zone and kept going right up the tunnel.

It was his best Bo Jackson impression.

“I was kind of gassed at that point,” Stoner said. “I just traveled back there and didn’t want to slip.”

Stoner had every reason to be gassed during No. 23 OSU’s 31-13 win over Kansas on Saturday inside Boone Pickens Stadium. The Jenks product caught five passes for 150 yards.

It was his second straight game filling in for injured star Tylan Wallace, and Stoner again delivered.

He caught a 51-yard TD pass from Spencer Sanders in the second quarter. Then, he caught a 43-yard TD from Dru Brown, this one sending Stoner up the Cowboys’ tunnel to their locker room like Jackson’s 1987 Monday Night Football run.

“He has to play multiple positions and he’s made plays,” OSU coach Mike Gundy said. “And our staff has done a nice job of getting some schemes to try to open some things up.”
