Thunder center Justin Patton assigned to G League

Thunder center Justin Patton has been assigned to the Oklahoma City Blue, general manager Sam Presti announced Wednesday. 

Patton, 22, will head to the organization's G League affiliate after appearing in one game for the Thunder. 

Patton has played in five career games over his first three NBA seasons. He had brief stints in Minnesota and Philadelphia before signing a two-year deal with OKC in August with a team option for a third year.
