Vote in The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll
It was a record-breaking week across Oklahoma.
When most games were played on Thursday, there were high-scoring affairs, nearly 30-year old records broken and stars continued to shine.
The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll for the top performances by OKC-area players in Week 7 is now live. Fans can vote before it closes at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Results of the poll will appear in Wednesday's edition of The Oklahoman.

Here are the candidates for the city-area Fans' Choice Player of the Week:
Steven Brown, WR, Stillwater: The junior has become another stellar target for quarterback Gunnar Gundy. He caught three passes for 126 yards with two touchdowns in the Pioneers’ 62-14 win against Lawton.
Dre Evans, QB, Shawnee: Evans was stellar in the Wolves’ 32-29 upset win against Class 6A-II No. 4 Muskogee, who had yet to lose a game this season. Evans accounted for three touchdowns and 253 total yards.
Javion Hunt, RB, Carl Albert: The junior running back has become one of the state’s best. He rushed for four scores on 20 carries with 124 yards while also completing a touchdown pass to his quarterback, Ben Harris, in the Titans' 48-0 win against rival Guthrie.
Austin Mages, QB, Perkins-Tryon: The junior is on a roll. He accounted for five touchdowns - three rushing and two passing - in a 34-13 win at Kingfisher, only the Demons third win ever at the Yellowjackets’ field.
Talyn Shettron, WR, Edmond Santa Fe: The sophomore is blossoming into one of the state’s top players, and he showed out in the Wolves’ 23-21 upset win against Class 6A-I No. 2 Broken Arrow. He caught eight passes for 159 yards, including a stellar 33-yard grab to set up the game-winning field goal.
Phillip Smitherman, WR/DB, Heritage Hall: Smitherman broke two Heritage Hall records in its 59-0 win at Bridge Creek. First, he had 271 receiving yards, the first record, on 11 receptions with three scores, and his 95-yard touchdown reception also broke a record set in 1990. He also recorded 12 tackles and an interception.
