High school swimming: Norman North’s Aiden Hayes commits to North Carolina State

Norman North swimmer Aiden Hayes will transition from one wolfpack to another when his high school career ends.

The junior announced Monday he has committed to North Carolina State.

Hayes starred for the Timberwolves as a freshman and sophomore. He was named The Oklahoman’s All-City Swimmer of the Year the past two seasons.

North Carolina State won its fifth straight ACC men’s title last season. Coach Braden Holloway has been named ACC Men’s Coach of the Year six times during his tenure with the Wolfpack. He took over the program in 2011.
