The Noble volleyball team is finding its stride as the postseason nears.

The Class 5A No. 9 Bears are on a four-game winning streak, their latest coming in a 3-0 victory against McAlester. Noble boasts a 24-5 record and is 5-1 against teams ranked in the top 10, including a 3-0 mark against top five opposition.

During a stretch from mid-August to September, the Bears went on a 14-game winning streak.

Noble is facing some adversity, though. Senior captain Kaitlyn Matlock broke a finger Wednesday, which will make her miss the rest of the season.

"She's been our captain for four years," coach Chrissy Marsee said. "We're going to be tested, but it's all going to work out."

Noble has road matchups at No. 14 Lawton MacArthur on Thursday and at Del City next Thursday to close its regular season slate. With victories, Noble may be able to host a regional before state tournament play.
