Vote in The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll

Upsets, rivalry wins and big performances were abundant during the first full week of district play.

The Oklahoman's Fans' Choice Player of the Week poll for the top performances by OKC-area players in Week 4 is live. Fans can vote before it closes at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Results of the poll will appear in Wednesday's edition of The Oklahoman.

Here are the candidates for the city-area Fans' Choice Player of the Week:

Brexten Green, WR/DB, Cashion: Green had a standout performance in a top Class A showdown. He intercepted two passes, caught two passes and had three rushes for 31 yards in Cashion's 33-22 win against Christian Heritage.

Gunnar Gundy, QB, Stillwater: Gundy was nearly perfect, completing 19-of-20 passes for 334 yards and five touchdowns with a rushing score in a 48-10 rout against Deer Creek. The senior quarterback completed all 18 of his passes in the first half.

Dylan Hampton, QB, Piedmont: Piedmont is rolling, and Hampton is a big reason why. Although the Wildcats run the flexbone, Hampton completed 5-of-8 passes for 149 yards and four touchdowns in their 49-7 victory at Guthrie.

Tyrece Romesberg, QB, Putnam City: Romesburg scored two touchdowns for Putnam City in its 14-10 win against rival Putnam West. He had 22 carries for 85 yards and two touchdowns while passing for 57 yards.

Gabe Trevillison, RB, Norman North: Trevillison was pivotal in Norman North clinching its first win of the season, a 23-20 victory against Mustang. He had 31 carries for 205 yards with two scores.

Caden Wolford, RB/LB, Meeker: The junior star was stellar in a 68-26 victory against Kellyville. Wolford was nearly unstoppable, recording 22 carries for 302 yards and five touchdowns.
