CannaCon returns to OKC
CannaCon is returning to Oklahoma City and could draw a bigger crowd than its inaugural Oklahoma conference earlier this year.
The event brings together a variety of cannabis professionals, as well as interested consumers, for a two-day expo tailored to Oklahoma’s medical marijuana industry.
It will be held Friday and Saturday at the Cox Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with ticketing starting at 9 a.m. both days.
CannaCon first came to Oklahoma City in April and had nearly 200 exhibitors and 5,000 attendees. More than 250 booths are expected for this next convention. The traveling event made stops in other parts of the country in between Oklahoma City demos.
In addition to the booths and exhibits, the event is scheduled to include seminars covering a variety of subjects within the industry, such as crop production, legal compliance, tax reporting practices, banking practices, human resources, product testing and software developments.
Chef Shaun O’Neale will be leading a demo on medical marijuana infused cooking. O’Neale was the season seven winner of the popular television cooking show "Master Chef," hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey.
Tickets run $40 for a one-day only expo pass, with the price set at $70 for a two-day pass.
To attend seminars, guests will need to choose between a $100 one-day option or $150 two-day pass.
