High school football: Cashion beats Crescent 47-6, remains undefeated
Cashion continues to look like the team to beat in Class A.
The top-ranked Wildcats notched a 47-6 victory at Crescent on Friday night.
Cashion (3-0) has looked nearly flawless this year, especially on defense. The Wildcats have allowed just 14 points.
“They’ve been playing real well all year,” Cashion coach Lynn Shackelford said of his defense. “That’s something we’ve been talking about since the spring. I think that’s the side of the football that we have the potential to be really good at.”
Alex Nabavi led the Cashion offense on Friday. He caught one touchdown pass and rushed for two scores against the Tigers (2-2). The senior also scored on a punt return.
