Bowman, a sophomore, suffered a shoulder injury Saturday night in a 28-14 loss at Arizona but remained in the game. The Red Raiders don’t play this week but play at OU on September 28 and host Oklahoma State on October 5.
Bowman missed four games last season due to a collapsed lung but was impressive in his eight games, completing 69.4 percent of his passes for 2,638 yards, 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions. At Arizona, Bowman completed 30 of 55 for 311 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
