OSU football: QB commit Shane Illingworth has a huge night
Oklahoma State quarterback commit Shane Illingworth put up some more big numbers Friday night.
He threw for 567 yards and seven touchdowns as Norco High School in the Los Angeles area defeated rival Vista Murrieta 49-28. The passing yards broke a school record and the touchdown passes tied it, marks Illingworth set just three weeks ago.
He was also 24 of 28 on Friday.
Illingworth, 6-foot-6 and 235 pounds, is a four-star recruit and one of the top pro-style quarterbacks in the 2020 class. He committed to OSU in May and has said he intends to graduate high school early so he can enroll early in college.
