Cosmopolitan magazine delivers its first fragrance
If you’re looking for a new fragrance, here’s one to check out. And surprise, it’s from a magazine.
Eau de Juice comes from Luxe Brands and Cosmopolitan. Model and actress Ashley Benson of “Pretty Little Liars” is the face of the campaign and a sure bet to attract younger women.
The fragrance is described as cheeky, witty and fun and is available in four scents – Extra Concentrated, 100% Chilled, Love, Unfiltered and Pure Sugar. Each fragrance is named to match a mood.
It’s the packaging that’s sure to grab attention, though. It features four juice boxes, complete with a lip print on the straw.
This is the magazine’s first step into beauty and Luxe Brands’ first deal with a magazine.
“In the spirit of Cosmo and our 81 million strong audience of modern young women, Eau de Juice is cheeky, witty, and fun,” said Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Jessica Pels. "Fragrance is the busy girl's best secret weapon and considering the fact that Cosmo readers account for one third of all beauty spending in this country, this is the perfect new extension for our brand.”
Eau de Juice is available exclusively for now at Ulta. Each 1.7-ounce eau de parfum spray retails for $55.
