2020 SEC-Big 12 Challenge set: OU to host Mississippi State, Texas A&M to host OSU, according to report
It looks like there will be a fresh start for the SEC-Big 12 Challenge in 2020.
According to a report from CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, Oklahoma will host Mississippi State while Oklahoma State travels to former conference foe Texas A&M.
The marquee matchup destined for a winter Saturday primetime broadcast on ESPN would likely be Kentucky at NCAA runner-up Texas Tech.
Other matchups include Tennessee at Kansas, Baylor at Florida, Missouri at West Virginia, LSU at Texas, Iowa State at Auburn, Kansas State at Alabama and TCU at Arkansas.
The Sooners are 0-3 all-time against Mississippi State and having played each other since a top-25 matchup won by the Bulldogs 54-45 on Dec. 28, 2002.
The Cowboys are 31-18 all-time against the Aggies, last meeting last November in Brooklyn with OSU falling 72-55.
SEC-Big 12 Women's Challenge announced
The Big 12 and SEC will face off in 10 matchups over five days from Dec. 4-8, the Big 12 announced Tuesday.
The Sooners will host LSU on Saturday, Dec. 7
The Oklahoma State Cowgirls will travel to College Station this season, facing Texas A&M on Dec. 7.
