Target’s new line of men’s grooming products
Surely, I’m not the only one who can barely keep up with all the Target launches.
The chain recently debuted its exclusive Goodfellow & Co men’s grooming products. Just in time for Father’s Day. Coincidence? Probably not.
Anyway, the launch comes two years after Target introduced Goodfellow & Co men’s apparel and accessories. It’s so popular that Goodfellow is on track to be a nearly $1 billion brand by 2020.
It will be interesting to see how the grooming products sell, but Target seems convinced it's a good move.
“Grooming is a growing business and we’ve seen a new level of demand for specialty, premium products. Goodfellow & Co grooming was created to better meet that demand with products that we can ensure are effective and affordable,” said Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising offer at Target.
The collection includes more than 30 items for the beard, face, hair and body, along with fragrances and accessories. Prices are less than $16.99.
Take your pick of beard oil, hair styling pomade, cologne and body wash, all designed to help men streamline and keep their personal care routines simple. And, of course, these are smell-good products. Moroccan Mint and Cedar, Spiced Ginger and Rum, Kelp and Sea Mineral, and Blue Sage and Tonka. The products also are free of unwanted chemicals and toxins.
Father’s Day is June 16. Just FYI.
