Fare-free streetcar service extended through January; was to end this weekend

The introductory period with free fares on the Oklahoma City Streetcar has been extended through Feb. 1.
Plans had been to collect the $1 fare beginning this weekend.
The streetcar system will operate on Sundays through Jan. 27 to gauge support for regular Sunday service.
Initial plans are for limited, event-oriented service only on Sundays.
Regular service is scheduled Mondays through Saturdays.
Streetcar service began Dec. 14.
Fares originally were going to be waived for the first three weeks.
