HAPPY HOLIDAYS

BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY GATHERING
Luncheon: Members of the Oklahoma City Orchestra League met at Cole's Garden for a meeting and holiday luncheon. Sam Kahre played the cello and Katie Barrick played Christmas carols on her violin. Eddie Walker talked about the next season of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
Food/flowers: Red roses, tulips and Christmas balls, white hydrangeas and mums with berries and pine cones were on the tables and small mason jars with warm apple cider were served. The buffet lunch, beautifully arranged, was grilled salmon and chicken, mashed sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes, and a variety of small desserts was by C2 Catering.
FESTIVE LOBSTER LUNCH
Occasion: A group of friends who observe their birthdays together met to celebrate the December birthdays of Pam Smith and Tina Stubbs. Kanela Huff was hostess and every room in her home was filled with Christmas decorations. Red poinsettias were on the lunch tables and Santa Clauses and Christmas trees were set up. Lobster bowls and plates added to the colorful event. Lighted Christmas bulbs as necklaces were party favors for the guests.
Gift exchange: Prizes were given for the prettiest packages and guests exchanged lottery tickets.
WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA
Occasion: Oklahoma Members of the Daughters of the American Revolution gathered at Union Soldiers Cemetery for participation in “Wreathes Across America.” The Samuel King Chapter had a large turnout and enjoyed participating in the memorial ceremony and decorating the graves with fresh greenery.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WILLA MAE
Birthday: Willa Mae Goolsby celebrated her 90th birthday at Ted's Mexican Restaurant recently. 30 family and friends attended the event, including grandchildren Scott Gilger, Joe Goolsby, Jon Goolsby and Ari Morris.
