Country singer Jon Pardi named face for Retro Wrangler
Jon Pardi’s career as a country singer is climbing.
He’s the Country Music Association’s New Artist of the Year and recently charted three No. 1 hits from his “California Sunrise” album.
Even those outside the music business are noticing. Wrangler has taped Pardi to be the new face of its Wrangler Retro collection.
Pardi, who grew up on the West Coast, favors jeans and a cowboy hat and is a fresh face on the music scene. That classic and contemporary picture is what attracted Wrangler to Pardi. He’ll appear in television, print, radio and online marketing campaigns for Retro.
“I grew up watching legendary country musicians rock out in Wrangler and always admired their personal style just as much as their music,” said in an interview with WWD. “What makes the Wrangler Retro collection special is that it honors the tradition of a classic brand, and also brings a new, contemporary style for everyone who loves the Western lifestyle, country music and the way a pair of Wrangler jeans look and feel.”
