Belk launches new beauty line
Belk department store chain has launched its first in-house beauty line.
The company says the line was inspired by the brand’s southern roots and its customers’ colorful outlook. The new collection includes eyeshadow palettes, liquid lip and pencil sets, lipstick and lip gloss sets, lip cubby sticks, three-piece contour sticks, highlighter and contour palette, blush and bronze palette, a nail polish set, and eyeliner set.
Women’s needs and wants figure prominently the new collection. The 8-Shade Eye Palette features two double-sized core shadows, so they last longer. And the lip kits give women an opportunity to try five colors for the price of one.
“Belk Beauty is here to help every southern and sophisticated customer cultivate her perfect look,” said Christine Woodward, vice president and divisional merchandise manager of beauty and fragrances at Belk. “Our customer is always confident and never overdone, so we're proud to offer quality products to enhance her natural beauty.”
The company says the products make it easy for women to enhance their natural look or step outside the box with shades drawn from the latest trends.
Products retail for $10 to $22 and are available at all Belk stores and online.
Belk is based in Charlotte, N.C., with stores in 16 states, including Oklahoma. Stores are in Stillwater, Owasso and Tulsa.
