Russell Westbrook recruited Paul George not with an event, but with a process Thunder unveils Chris Fisher as new TV play-by-play announcer Dennis Schroder starts a new chapter with the Thunder Thunder journal: Westbrook embracing veteran status 10 interesting quotes from Thunder Media Day

Russell Westbrook may be coming off knee surgery, but he is already in midseason form when it comes to deflecting questions.
Asked about his timetable to return at the Thunder's annual media day Monday, Westbrook asked a reporter what he had read about the recovery period.
After hearing "four weeks" in response, Westbrook deadpanned "There you go."
And here we go with the 2018-19 NBA season.
Now that Media Day has come and gone, it's time to turn to the NBA calendar.
Oklahoma City's four-game preseason slate begins next week and the 82-game regular season begins Oct. 16.
The Thunder announced Monday that Chris Fisher would replace Brian Davis as the team's television play-by-play announcer for 70 broadcasts on Fox Sports Oklahoma.
OKC's regular-season games will be broadcast again on WWLS 98.1FM.
