Alex Saucedo to fight WBO champ Maurice Hooker on Nov. 16 at Chesapeake Energy Arena

The date is set.
Maurice Hooker will defend his WBO world light welterweight belt against Oklahoma City's Alex Saucedo on Friday, Nov. 16, at Chesapeake Energy Arena, Top Rank Boxing confirmed Saturday.
Saucedo will attempt to become the second boxer from Oklahoma City to win a world title and the first since Sean O'Grady won the World Boxing Association's world lightweight title in 1981.
It will be Saucedo's second bout this year in his hometown. He won a bloody bout against Lenny Zappavigna in June that many critics hailed as the fight of the year.
Tickets and TV information for Saucedo's title bout have yet to be announced.
