Super sales on summer swimwear

There’s plenty of summer left.

If you’ve put off buying a new swimsuit, jump to it. They’re all on sale now. Dillard’s swim department is advertising up to 40 percent off. But even better is L.A. Sun & Sport with 80 percent off the entire store until 5 p.m. July 15. The store is closing its physical location but will continue to keep the e-commerce website.

The swim selection probably isn’t what it was two months ago, but come on, 40 to 80 percent off. That’s worth a trip.

Here are a few of this year’s swimwear trends:

High-neck tops, belted tanks and lace bikinis. Retro looks, ruffles and frills. Plunging necklines, high-cut bottoms and daring cut-outs. Sporty suits, athletic influences and high-waisted two-piece styles.

And let’s not forget about one-shoulder, off-the-shoulder and ruffles. Prints, tie fronts, lacing and ribbed fabric. Crochet, velvet and mismatched bikinis. Belts, off-the-shoulder tops and arm detail.

And, finally, florals, polka dots, pastels and neon.
