Nichols, an OU sophomore, won the NCAA all-around title Friday night in St. Louis with a score of 39.8125. She finished first in every category except the vault (9.9000, sixth). Nichols had a perfect 10 on bars, was first on beam with a 9.9500 and a 9.9625 on the flour routine.
Dowell, a junior, won the vault title at the NCAA Championships with a score of 9.9375.
The Sooners advanced to the Super Six with a top score of 198.0500. They'll compete with Florida, Utah, California, Washington and Kentucky for the team title Saturday.
