The Morning Brew: Video captures horror inside Florida school

Snapchat video captures horror

Of all the images coming from the school shooting in Parkland, Florida none captured the horror quite like a Snapchat video from inside one of the school's classrooms.
Snapchat video recorded by a student shows shots blasting, children screaming hysterically, and smoke rising in the classroom during the shooting Wednesday at Parkland's Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
“Oh, my God,” a man could be heard yelling in the video, as the shots rang out.
Broward Sheriff Scott Israel has said 17 people have been killed.
Fourteen victims were taken to area hospitals, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
A federal official identified the suspect as Nikolas Cruz, according to the Associated Press. A former student, Cruz was taken into custody off campus without incident, Israel said. The suspect was both inside and outside the school building in the course of the shootings, the sheriff said.
