Marvel Entertainment Names New Editor in Chief

C.B. Cebulski is named editor in chief of Marvel Entertainment, according to a report at the New York Times. Longtime editor in chief Axel Alonso, serving in that role since 2011, will depart the company.

Cebulski has been working on international publishing for Marvel while living in Shanghai. He's had a variety of roles in the company, including shepherding the comic "Runaways," which has been adapted to a show on Hulu.

Runaways was created bby the writer Brian K. Vaughan and the artist Adrian Alphona and features teenagers who find out their parents are villains.
