Oklahoma Vice: Friendly Market reopens to the public

After a more than two year legal battle, The Friendly Market has reopened in a new location in downtown Norman, 301 S. Porter.

The Friendly Market's remarkable return is the beginning of a new chapter for owner Robert Cox and manager Stephen Holman, who were acquitted earlier this year on felony drug charges after two police raids at the store.

One new feature the old store didn't have is a large, illuminated-sign.

The store opened Saturday. Along with glass pipes, The Friendly Market sells an eclectic assortment of items including apparel and books.
