Play NBA 2K18 on the big screen in downtown OKC
It's a game day today in Oklahoma City.
And that means you can play, too.
The Oklahoman is hosting a 'Rule the Court Challenge' at the corner of Sheridan and Robinson in downtown Oklahoma City. We'll have an X-Box S One, a couple of controllers, an NBA 2K18 game and a lot of fun.
We started the game-day fun on Thursday night before the Thunder game against the New York Knicks. It was a lot of fun for us, and we got the idea that fans on the way to the arena had a good time, too.
If you missed it, we hope to see you Sunday afternoon.
All you have to do is get downtown early before the game tonight and swing by the large video screen on that corner. We'll be there waiting for you.
We'll be set up two hours before game time, and we'll be finished in plenty of time for you to be a part of all the pregame festivities at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
This isn't just for the thrill of controlling the actions of Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony for all to see on the large video screen. That's plenty fun -- but there's something in it for you, too.
Braum's is sponsoring the events this season, and our NBA 2K18 players will receive a coupon for a free double scoop of ice cream.
All the participants will get a chance to play the same amount of time. At the end of the fun, we'll count the scores and award the nightly prize -- a $25 gift card to Braum's -- to the best player for the evening.
There's a limited amount of time and a lot of people who claim to be the best at NBA 2K18. There will be a lot of competition, so bring your best game.
You'll want to get on our corner and get signed up.
