10 things about 'America's Got Talent' winner Darci Lynne Farmer you didn't know

Oklahoma City's own Darci Lynn Farmer just made history by winning the 12th "America's Got Talent" competition with her incredible singing and ventriloquism skills.

Farmer, it turns out, is a girl of many talents, and the Internet is clamoring to learn more about her. So, here are 10 things about Darci Farmer you might not have known.

10. Balancing act

Darci is an accomplished gymnast, having gravitated toward the sport at an early age. She trained hard every week, putting in as much time into her passion as most adults put into their workweek!

9. Judges

And, despite being just 12 years old, Darci has also accomplished a lot as a beauty pageant participant.

8. On TV

If you thought Darci looked familiar when you saw her on "America's Got Talent," then you've got a good memory: She was also a guest on Steve Harvey's "Little Big Shots Starring Steve Harvey" in 2016.

6. Family life

Darci has three brothers: Nick, Dalton and Nate. You can see two of them congratulate her after her win in the video above.

5. Going International

The Atlantic Ocean couldn't keep Darci contained -- she also competed at age 11 the British show "Little Big Shots."

4. Money, money

Darci already has plans for her $1 million winnings: she's going to donate some to her church, buy her mom a new dishwasher (theirs is currently broken) and adopt a pug.

3. A teen soon

Darci won't be a preteen for much longer -- her 13th birthday is Oct. 12, 2017.

2. Shyness

Believe it or not, Darci was once a shy little kid. So, she asked her parents if she could have a puppet to help her overcome it. Her parents surprised her with one for her 10th birthday.

1. You go, girl!

Darci is a rare one: She's only the third female to win "America's Got Talent."
