Edmond to give tech overview
EDMOND — Edmond Public Schools will hold a technology information night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the administrative building, 1001 W Danforth Road, for the parents of eighth-, ninth- and 10th-graders. School officials will talk about the Chromebooks the students will receive this year. The meeting will give an overview of the digital conversion initiative and information about a responsible use agreement parents must sign before students are given a Chromebook. An optional technology protection plan will be offered for $30.
Science Story Time is offered
NORMAN — Norman Public Library West is looking for help from some creative children during its First Thursday Science Story Time, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the library, 300 Norman Center Court. The program will be centered around the children's book “Hansel and Gretel.” After reading the book together, participants will build their own traps to catch the witch. Writers group sets meeting
