The current emergency room will be expanded in 2018. Emergency room service to the entire campus will remain operational during construction.

Oscar winners Martin Scorsese and Leo DiCaptrio are reportedly teaming up to develop a film adaptation of the Oklahoma-based true crime thriller "Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI."

Reports Brandy McDonnell:

The project is based on the best-selling book by David Grann, a staff writer for the New Yorker and author of “The Lost City of Z.”

Grann's book is based on a four-year series of real-life murders that occurred in Oklahoma in the 1920s, as members of the Osage nation were shot, poisoned, bombed and otherwise slain after oil was discovered under their lands. The haunting series of slayings was one of the fledgling FBI’s first major homicide investigations.

Read an excerpt from The New Yorker, "The Marked Woman." It's a well-told tale.
