The Islamic Society Of Greater Oklahoma City recently distributed a statement condemning the recent terrorist attack in the UK.

Here is the news release:

The Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City would like to express our disbelief and horror in the act of a group of merciless cowards that executed the terrorist act in the United Kingdom. These hoodlums must be brought to justice and punished for their crimes against humanity. We call for justice for the victims not only in the U.K. but worldwide.

"Islam teaches us to help and support all of humanity. These animals are going against the very faith they are pretending to protect. We are opposed to this act of cowardice and malice," said Saad Mohammed, director of Islamic information for ISGOC.

"The Holy Quran teaches us the saving of a life is like saving the life of all humanity. The taking of a life is as if you killed all of humanity. The life of a human or animal is very important and sacred in the house of Islam. To violate the rule of life is a violation of God’s law. We must unite as a community against such evil people."

We pray for All Mighty God to heal and protect the families of the victims in the U.K. attack. We ask God to strengthen them and support them all.
